We now have some bookings terms and conditions, shown below. Please read these items carefully.


New booking conditions from March 2022

The standard rental charge for Rosvean is:-

High Season (July and August) - £581 a week

Mid Season (May, June, September, plus Easter fortnight, October Half-term and Christmas/New Year) - £490 a week

Low Season (October to April excluding Easter and October Half-term) - £378 a week

We do not let Rosvean commercially, only to family and friends (and sometimes friends recommended by friends). We do not offer TV or some other amenities, and access is awkward, although Rosvean has an unequalled view and is well furnished and equipped. Rental prices for other properties in Bosorne vary from about £500 to £1,400 depending on the season.

Bookings are not made until we receive the rental charge. The rental charge includes electricity and all property outgoings except phone calls from the house phone. If you wish to make outgoing calls from the house phone, you are asked to pay the estimated cost of the call into the tin provided. All calls are itemised on our telephone bills.

Please ensure you put your surname in the ‘Reference’ box, so that we know the payment is from you.

Bookings generally run from Friday to Friday. You will not be able to move in until after 4.00 pm on your start date as our cleaner will be attending between 12.00 noon and 4.00 pm. Bookings end at 12.00 noon on your departure date. Please note that while we can sometimes accept a booking starting on a Saturday, we cannot accept bookings ending on a Saturday, as we cannot arrange cleaning and handover on Saturdays.

Cancellations: you can cancel your booking by emailing stephentrahair@gmail.com.

High Season and Easter fortnight: you can cancel a booking with a complete refund of the rental paid, provided we are notified at least two calendar months prior to the start of the booking.

Mid Season and Low Season: you can cancel a booking with a complete refund of the rental paid, provided we are notified at least one calendar month prior to the start of the booking.

All refunds of rent are made by online payment. We will require the name and number of your account and the name and sort code of your bank in order to make a payment to you.

We take your privacy seriously. We will retain your name, address, phone number and/or email address on our files solely in order to deal with your booking and any difficulties which may arise. We will not of course pass any of your details to any other person or organisation for marketing purposes.
